Football is one of the most popular games or sports in the USA. Maybe, you also like watching a football match or you may like to play football. This sport needs a good stamina and body protection because you are about to run and bring a ball. Certainly, you need a football mouth guard to protect your mouth and teeth during the game play. You are required to buy an NFL mouth guard before you join this sport. Even though you are wearing a special helmet when playing football, you still need football mouthpiece for your mouth protection. You may not wear a mouthpiece for protection, but you must take the risk just in case you fall down to the ground or the ball may hit your face.

Nowadays, football sport also becomes the most favorite sports for most of the kids in the US. How can you let your kids play football while you do not give them mouth guards for protection? It is undeniable that lip mouth guard for football is a really important item to purchase before you or your kids really play this challenging game. So, we would suggest you wear a cool football mouth guard if you want to play football or when you allow your kids to play football with their friends. What is exactly the role of mouth guard for football? Let us explain the importance of football lip guard for your information to get sports safety.

Two Popular Types of Football Mouth Guards

If you want to wear a football mouthpiece for protection, then you have two options of the most popular types of football mouth guards. The first type is mouth guard with strap and the second type is lip guard.

Mouth Guard with Strap

The first type is a mouth guard with a strap that is made from a rubber material to protect your teeth and mouth. This type has a strap that you can tie on your helmet to prevent it from falling down. The shape of this mouth guard is flat, but there is also football mouthpiece with teeth that looks like teeth made from rubber material either. There is a strap on the outer surface that you can tie on your football helmet when you wear it. In general, a mouth guard can only protect your teeth and mouth, but it is not protecting your lips. Therefore, if you want to have a full mouth and lip protection, then you also need to attach a lip guard to your mouth guard. So, it is like two protectors that you can combine together. The lip guard is perfect when you attach it to your mouth guard to get extra protection during the game play.

Lip Guard

Lip guard is another type of custom football mouth guards with lip guard. A lip guard is basically designed to protect your lip when playing football, but you can also customize it with a mouth guard. In addition to protecting lip, this type of cool football mouthpiece is also able to protect teeth because it also has teeth protector. Mouth guard with strap is also usually designed with lip guard. This lip guard can also be removed when you do not need it or you can put it on when you play football. It is really important to combine these two types of custom football mouth guards for full protection. However, you are not recommended to wear only lip guard without a mouth guard because your teeth are also important to be covered to prevent it from cracking just in case an accident happens to you. Since there were so many cases where football players did not wear any youth mouth guard football when playing football until they suddenly got an accident and made their mouth injured and bleeding. Not only that, their teeth were also cracking because they did not wear a mouth guard. Even though you do not know if your mouth is safe or not, wearing a mouth guard when playing football is necessary unless you really want to get injured in the game.

Tips for Mouth Guards and Braces in Youth Football

Protecting your children’s teeth in sports is really important, especially for those who are wearing braces. Football mouthpiece for braces must be the best choice to protect your kids’ teeth during the football gameplay. However, also need to know some important tips for mouth guards and braces in your football so that it can provide more safety for your children during playing football with their friends.

Never Play Football without a Mouth Guard

A football lip guard or mouth guard with teeth is really important to wear when you want to play football. You are not recommended to play football if you do not have a mouth guard. However, it does not mean that you can play it. Your coach may prohibit you to join the team if you do not have a football mouth guard with lip guard or you must take your own risk just in case the ball hit your mouth or you may fall down and then it may hurt your mouth.

Buying the Best Football Mouth Guard

You have to keep in mind that your kid’s mouth is an asset because if you do not care about his teeth, then his teeth may be damaged when playing football. So, you need to make sure that you buy the best youth football mouthpiece. A good mouth guard for football must be made from good rubber material but it is not too hard. As long as it is comfortable to wear, then it will protect teeth. If you are looking for strapless mouth guard for flag football for kids instead, here is the page.

Buying Football Mouth Guard for Braces

For those who are wearing braces but they really want to play football, then you need to give them a football mouthpiece for braces. There is a special mouth guard for a brace that you can buy. It is really important to buy youth football mouthpiece for a brace to give a comfort when your kids wear it. If you use a conventional mouth guard, it may not fit the teeth with a brace. So, a special mouthpiece for braces can be the best choice. This Oral Mart custom mouth guard for football is no boil required and it’s totally for your football players who are wearing braces.

Buying Some Affordable Mouth Guard

A mouth guard for football is a simple item and you can find it in any sports store. If you want to provide safety for your kids, you are required to buy a youth football mouthpiece because this sport is really challenging and sometimes it can make your kid hurt. Besides, you can also buy some cheap football mouthpieces to save money. A cheap mouth guard is not always bad because it depends on the user. Moreover, a mouth guard is also a tiny thing that is made from rubber material so you will never find it so expensive to buy.

Choosing Mouth Guard for Braces with Strap

When you play football, you will run overtime while wearing a helmet and mouth guard. Sometimes, your mouth guard will be detached from your mouth and it falls down. Therefore, it is really necessary to buy a custom football mouthpiece with a strap that you can tie on the helmet to prevent it from falling down. Once it is removed from your mouth, then you can put it on again.

How to Attach a Mouth Guard to a Football Helmet?

A custom football mouthpiece with a strap is a good idea if you want to play football. Actually, you can easily wear a mouth guard for football because you only need to attach it to your teeth and bite it. However, when you wear a football mouth guard with strap, you need to attach it to the helmet. How to attach it to your helmet? It is really easy to attach the mouth guard with a strap to your helmet because it is specifically designed to work that way. Firstly, you can wear the mouth guard before wearing the helmet and then bite it. After that, you can wear your helmet and then hold the mouth guard strap from the outside the helmet. Next, you can put it the strap end into the helmet and lock it. Usually, there are some holes in the middle of the mouth guard strap that you can choose to lock the strap point. Important Reasons for Football Mouthpieces

Why do you need to wear a mouthpiece when playing football? Do mouth guards prevent a concussion? Well, wearing a football mouth guard that covers lips is a must, it is not an option. Your coach will not allow you to play football if you do not have a helmet and a mouth guard. Is a helmet not enough for a protection? The helmet is actually only protecting your head, not your mouth. Even though some helmets are designed with face grid, you still need a football lip guard. It is actually for additional protection just in case you fall down to the ground or the ball hits your face, so you can still protect your teeth from damage.

Football is not similar to European football but it is more challenging. Soccer does not use helmet and mouth guard despite it is a ball game, but football needs a helmet and mouthpiece for protection because when you play football you will fight over a ball until you also must collide with each other. Sometimes, your opponent accidentally hits your face. Fortunately, your face is covered by a helmet and you are also wearing a football mouth guard that covers your lips, so it is not a big deal at all despite you hit your opponent’s head.

Especially for kids, a kid’s football mouthpiece is very important because their teeth still belong to milk teeth and vulnerable to crack. Thus, if you have a son who loves playing football, you are recommended to buy a youth football mouthpiece for teeth and mouth protection. A teeth protection is not enough because their lips may also be broken when an accident occurs. So, you are required to buy custom football mouthpiece that can protect your kid’s teeth and lips during the football playing. In addition, it is a good idea if you prefer to buy a youth football mouth guard with a strap to make sure that the mouth guard will always be there and it will not fall down.

Where to buy a cheap football mouthpiece anyway? It is not difficult to find some sports stores which sell custom football mouth guards with lip guard. You can even buy it online if you wish. You can buy one, two, or three youth football mouthpiece with lip guard for your kids. Moreover, you can also choose some of your favorite colors such as red, blue, yellow, and other colors. You may only buy a mouth guard to protect your teeth without a lip guard and strap. Usually, this kind of mouth guard has a shape like teeth as it is also used in the boxing. However, it does not provide a full protection for your mouth because your lips also need a protector. In this case, you are recommended to purchase custom football mouth guards with lip guard. If it is possible, then you can also buy a mouth guard that is designed with strap, so you can attach it to your helmet.

In conclusion, a mouth guard for football is an important item to wear on when you play football. This is the safety standard of playing football in the USA. Your football coach will ask you to wear this mouth guard when you want to play along with a helmet. If you do not have a lip guard for football or a mouth guard, then you are not allowed to join the game. Thus, you can buy some best mouth guards for football to give the best protection. Fortunately, you may also buy some cheap mouth guard online as you wish. In addition, there are also so many options if you really want to purchase mouth guards for your kids or for you with different sizes and designs but they are still comfortable to wear.

10 reviews for Football Mouth Guard for Flag Football – Lip Guard Mouthguards – No Boil Required! Works with Braces!

  1. Oral Mart

Excellent lip guard mouthguard. Got this for my son, who has braces. He says its comfortable and no sharp edges on it the he can feel. No boiling necessary.

  2. Cristopher D

I ordered this mouthpiece to replace my sons current one. His current one is exactly the same as this one. He loves the design of it. The open center design allows him to breathe normally instead of having to learn to breathe around his teeth. These are on par with the quality of any other name brand mouthpiece. Really is no reason to pay more for the same thing honestly. They hold up well and are comfortable in the mouth.

Overall these are great mouthpieces that are great quality at a lot less the price. I 100 percent recommend them and will be buying more of these in the future as I need them.

  3. Raquel R

Well made, perfect for my 11 year old. Perfect for flag football. Comfortable to wear and doesn’t need boiling. Fit perfectly. Yes to safety and swagger.

  4. Justin H

Easy to breathe, full mouth protection. Beautiful design that is ready to go out of the box. No boiling needed. Comes with a strap that can attach it to your helmet. Fits my 7 year old footballer comfortably.

  5. Jayechris Huse

It is a good mouth piece. I don’t play football, or any contact sport for that matter, so I am relying on my running back nephew to review this mouth piece. He says it looks like it should work as expected. And he really liked the tiger fangs. I’m giving it 4 stars for what I’ve told and what I can see – it looks well made. Since I can’t obviously try it on I think that’s a reasonable and fair rating.

  6. Ryan A

Offers plenty of protection, but the sizing is likely better for teens an adults. This mouthguard was for my 11 year old son. When he put it in, you could immediately tell that it offers great protection for the teeth and lips, however, it was was easy for him to breathe, but difficult for him to be able to speak with any clarity. A smaller size may help that, but this mouthguard was only offered in one size. If you are looking for a mouthguard that is suitable for a player younger than a teenager, it may be too big for the average size mouth. For a teenager or adult, this should be a winner.

  7. Grandpa Steve

Running Back Grandson Looks Like “The Killah From Manilla”! Two of our grandsons play school football and the younger one (10) is just a beast of a running back. They even call him “the beast,” and this awesome “tiger bite” mouth guard adds an “intimidation” factor as he’s coming straight at you! We didn’t want to completely remove it from its packaging to provide some pics, but you can clearly see the overall size and actual mouth piece, as well as the attachment cord to keep it on the helmet when not in the mouth. We’re hoping it’s something he’ll be able to use for the next season, and if he outgrows it by then, he can always hand it off to a younger brother or cousin – several of them are already preparing for their chance at playing on a school football team, so there’ll be no shortage of prospective recipients. If you know a kid over 8 who’s playing football or any other sport that benefits from a mouth guard, this one as a gift is likely going to make the recipient smile, and then look mean as heck and ready to “tear a new…chunk out of someone’s hide” in the process.

  8. Helen Chistina

Kid approved ! My 11yr old nephew was ecstatic when he saw the mouth guard. He plays football and other sports And couldn’t stop mentioning how cool the design is. Fits perfect plus he wears braces.

  9. Howard Michael

Safety with a little fun. The mouth guard that will be given to my grandson, super cool. His team is the Tigers and this just adds a little more fierce to his football stance. It came packaged good and has what it needs on the inside of the box so he can strap it to his helmet.

  10. Ms. Kat

Keeps the germs out of kids mouths. I like this type of mouth guard because it keeps kids from getting their hands all over their mouth guard and then putting it back in their mouths. This particular mouth guard is really cool with the tiger teeth. Also, it is breathable! My kids play flag football and this is the perfect mouth guard. I like that the guard is BPA and latex free and does not require boiling. This one is a winner!
